The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for southwestern Stanley County and northwestern Jones County.
🕖 Warning until 7:45 PM CDT / 6:45 PM MDT
🌩️ Threats:
* 🏓 Ping-pong ball size hail
* 💨 60 MPH wind gusts
* 🏠 Damage possible to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles
* 🌳 Trees may be damaged or knocked down
The storm was located near Bunker and is moving southeast at 20 MPH. It is expected near Bunker around 6:50 PM and Capa around 7:15 PM.
🚨 If you are in the warned area, take shelter now. Move indoors to a sturdy building and stay away from windows. Bring pets and livestock into a safe location if possible.
Stanley County Emergency Management will continue to monitor the storm and provide updates as needed.
